In 1871 Wales Census he and the family was living at No7 Club Row in the Hamlet of Middle in Ystradyfodwg in Glamorgan. His name was recorded as Johnny Williams and he was 8 years old and a scholar. But in our family Bible his name was recorded as Jonnie.
