  General Notes:

The only Arthur Kelly Birth registered in Tasmania in the 1800's was Arthur Kelly 15 Nov 1886 - KELLY ARTHUR Birth Male Father WILLIAM Mother MCGEE BRIDGET born at EMU BAY 15-Nov 1886 1886 1370 33 but this is probably not him as the age is wrong.

On the Death Notice of Arthur William Kelly he had loved brother of May and Hilda so presumably he had 2 other sisters.

Hilda and May were recorded as sisters by HC Millington at Arthur William Kelly's Death in 1965. The only Hilda Kelly was born in Tasmania was on 14 May 1891 to George William Kelly and Eliza Moore in Hobart. There are two May's one a Mary May Kelly born to the same parents above. It is possible that Arthur William Kelly also had the same parents. The other May was born 17 Oct 1889. George William Kelly and Eliza Moore were married on 31 Dec 1981 in Hobart 702/1981 RGD 37. George William Kelly was born 24 July 1859 with Father John and Mother Caroline Wallington in Hobart 2702/1859 RGD 33. This couple had 8 children.

We also have a letter from a grandchild stating he had two sisters Hilda and May. They said that Hilda moved to the Mornington area and changed her name to Gibson.

Lyn's sister in law had Robert's and two of his decendents DNA tested and it matches that of John Kelly and Carolinre Wallington descendants through George William Kelly's siblings showing that it is proof that George William is the correct father of Arthur William Kelly.

He was buried in the Cornelian Bay Cemetery in the RC Section CC site 431.

George married Eliza MOORE, daughter of John MOORE (AKA COFFIN) and Mary (Matilda) MURRAY, on 31 Dec 1881 in Hobart, Tasmania. (Eliza MOORE was born on 18 Jul 1856 in Hobart, Tasmania, died in May 1905 and was buried on 1 Jun 1905 in Cornelian Bay Cemetery, Hobart, Tas.)
