Lionel married Ellen MAXWELL, daughter of Samuel MAXWELL and Helen McGUIRE, in 1878 in Cooma, NSW. (Ellen MAXWELL was born about 1858, died in 1926 in Campbellfield, VIC and was buried in 1926 in Cheltenham Cemetry, Vic.)
